Dear brothers & sisters in Kenosha,

Greetings in Christ Name, happy new year to all of you, I hope & pray all is doing well in the Lord. I am grateful & thankful to all of you for helping me in times of trouble in the year 2023. May everyone continue to serve the Lord, always love God & we must remain faithful to the things that have been taught. I am glad to be doing the Lord’s work here with our fellow Preachers in the last month of December 2023, hope this Year 2024 more great Lord’s work will happen. This time, I am saving money to buy a cheap laptop worth $300 so I can use the Epson projector I loan, maybe I can buy it in month of April for it useful in the Church here. And with your help all the good plans for the Lord’s work here will succeed. As the bible says in Ephesians 4:2-3 Always be humble and gentle. Patiently put up with each other and love each other. Try your best to let God’s Spirit keep your hearts united. Do this by living at peace. May God bless all of us…& bless more the Church in Kenosha.

Leo December Update

Dear Brother Darren,

Greetings to you and your family who are our beloved, and to all our beloved brothers and sisters at Kenosha Church of Christ through our savior’s holy name. May this report finds you all in a good health.

On December 1. We both spoke at the house of the son of bro. Gilbert Boliver in Maliwanag, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. His house is located in front of the house of bro. Gilbert. He and his wife heard every time we had a public preaching. On December 3 he attended during Sunday service and worship.

On December 2, 2023. My son bro. Evanlee and I were able to visit bro. Richard Encarnacion in Mangga, Kolambugan Lanao del Norte. We comforted, advised and edified him for his wife sis. Zusette working in other country cheated him. We also gave words of encouragements to his Three children who are church members.

On December 8. Using the Car we hauled the household things of the daughter of bro. Anecito Lapuz in Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte. Brother Anecito’s daughter is a On Line teacher in Kapatagan. She was staying in a village surrounded by Muslim ( Maranao ) and had always stolen. Brother Anecito got afraid for her daughter and by that they decided to stop working and to go back home. After hauling, we got a time to preach.

On December 11. We both One day in Logpond, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. We visited the houses of our brethren who most of them shared to us the hardship of their livelihood to support their daily needs. We encouraged them well by the message of our Lord.

On December 13. We both visited the house of bro. Cesar Juevesano in Logpond to preach Editha Gasyong. The words of God we sow became fruitful for Editha’s mind was enlightened

On December 15. We both spoke in a funeral of late sis. Susan Ditchos in Bagongsilang, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte. There were many of the brethren coming to show their sympathy to the family who bereaved and also there were their neighbors, relatives and friends.

On December 16. We both spoke at the house of sis. Ailyn’s relative in Cadaatan, Salvador, Lanao del Norte. The attendance was about 10 people who all of them are not members of the church.

On December 19. We both went back to the house of bro. Anecito Lapuz to preach their children as a followup study.

On December 20, 22 and 23. We spent those days in going to the doctors at Baroy unicipal Health Center, Asentista Doctors’ Hospital and at Maranding Comunity Hospital in Maranding, Lala, Lanao del Norte for my wife sis. Evangeline suffers sickness. Based on her executive check up result she has a high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

On December 29. We both went back to the house of bro. Richard Encarnacion in Mangga, Kolambugan. We still had to talk about the problem he has being caused by his wife who cheats. Brother Richard and his children continue having a troubled mind. He asked me to find way to contact his wife and to give advice.

Today December 30. We both visited the house of bro. James Griffifts_Nayler. He shared to us the incident that happened to him that while he was walking down the street his head was hit being stricken by bad people using an empty bottle. He brought this case to the Police officer to have a legal action, but the men were asking forgiveness and so he forgave.

We spent some of our days in going to Maliwanag while the time that the church building was under construction.

We are worthy to thank God as He blessed us all who continue doing for His glory.

Evanlee December Update

Dear Brother Darren,

My wife sister Flordilez and I would like to greet you with your whole family who we love and to all our beloved brethren in Kenosha Church of Christ in the name of the great God and our savior Jesus Christ. We hope and pray that everyone of you is fine.

Year 2023. By God’s grace we opened Four congregations;

1.) Last April. The Maliwanag Church of Christ in Maliwanag, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. My dad bro. Leo, my son Leo II and I labor. Hopefully, few months later bro. Yama Subingsubing could be the regular preacher.

2.) Last September. The Annex Church of Christ in Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte. Some of the members of this congregation were from the Rebe Church. Their relatives and neighbors converted so we decided to open this place. Brother Jancery Mancia who labors.

3.) Last October. The Koreo Church of Christ in Sultan Naga Dimaporo in Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte. It has a distance of about 40 kilometers away from our home. Brother Jechris Mancia who labors.

4.) Last November. The Cadaatan Church of Christ in Cadaatan, Salvador, Lanao del Norte. Brother Jancery Mancia who labors. These preachers brethren were converted years ago through our efforts by the grace of God.

Baptisms; Last December 6th One soul was baptized in Koreo Sultan Naga, Dimaporo, On 23rd Two Souls were baptized in Salvador and On 24th One soul was baptized in Logpond. They were Four in all being baptized.

I visited with my son bro. Leo II and my dad bro. Leo to edify our brethren in different congregations to edify them. We met brethren who have a family problem, sickness and hardship of their daily needs.

Sunday worship and Progress;

The Segapod Church of Christ increased in number. There was a local church in National High of Segapod we opened in 2013. By that time, me and my dad bro. Leo labored. In 2017 we asked bro. Dionesio Apatan to preach there. This year the number of members decreased so those left members decided to join us in Purok 4 Segapod Church of Christ. The Maliwanag church of Christ increased in number for about 10 individuals were being restored.

We had preached in a funeral and to the houses of the unbelievers. Many days we used in going to Maliwanag to do some works, going to the doctors for my wife sis. Flordilez continues in sickness and my mom sis. Evangeline who is also sick.

We thank God through our Lord Jesus Christ for He keeps blessing to His church that constantly growing in number as we all labor in Him.

Funeral Service

Dear brethren in Kenosha,

Greetings in Christ Name, thank you all for your help and support. I was able to change oil on my motorcycle for good condition for my travel to visit my relatives and attend funeral service, and I was with my mother. I am so glad because I have met such relatives, also brother Leo & his son is with me, we comforted them to relieve their sorrows through the word of God. Then on the next morning before I went back to Iligan City, we had a home bible study in Cadaatan, Salvador LDN. Most of them are Roman Catholics. Here I attached some photos of the work. I hope & pray all the work goes well. And all of this works well because of your help, that’s why I am so very grateful for your kindness. God bless us all in the Lord’s kingdom. Regarding getting the funds I have only my PAYPAL account, but if sending it to brother Leo is more convenient to you than PAYPAL It is still better. Thank you very much brother & sister in Kenosha.

Dear Brother & Sister in Kenosha,

Greetings in Christ Name, Hope you are all doing well in the Lord’s Kingdom. I am glad that the work of the Lord here with my co-preachers was great. Here are some of the photos in this month of October, I hope that many more works of the Lord will happen. I am also thankful for all of your help, which is a great help in my service to the Lord. Last time I told you about one of our brethren who wanted to help me but this time I received his letter as if he can’t help at the moment. He replied (Soon I will be looking at the brethren I have noted and will have to decide who will receive money and how much. (Oh, how I wish that I was a rich man! Unfortunately I am a lower paid preacher. At this time I cannot promise anything.) and I understand his situation because I am just like him, sometimes it is and sometimes it is not. So I decided to sell my android phone for $80 to pay my motor bill in advance this month of december so I have nothing to think about. Then maybe next year I will just buy another cheapest android phone which is useful for taking photos of our work & also storing my bible topics on a notes app. And to be honest even though I’m shy, I’ll just say that I need help this time, it will cost $40 for the internet bill and oil change due on December 3rd. I’m just looking, praying & hoping for you my brothers and sisters there in Kenosha, if maybe you can help me would be better. For this time I am focusing on paying the HOME CREDIT (projector in church) remaining balance $150. I hope you can understand me in these times. But if there is someone else who is asking for your help which it’s more important, it’s ok, I’ll go for next time, because at this time I was wondering where I could borrow money. Thank you very much to all my brethren there in Kenosha for everything you did to me. May GOD BLESS to all of you there, stay strong & healthy.

Maliwanag Church Building Construction Update

Brother Mick,

The Maliwanag church building is unfinished yet and working is on going, but though, hopefully we can start to use it to gather for worship this coming December 3rd. How happy and thankful we are to God for your great help and the rest of the brethren there. See picture attached. I will let you know the complete update when it is finished.

My wife sister Flordilez and I would like to greet you and your family whom we love and to all our beloved brothers and sisters in Kenosha Church of Christ in the name of the great God and our savior Jesus Christ. We hope and pray that everyone of you is fine.

Last November 1, 2023, I preached with my dad bro. Leo in the funeral of Elizabeth Abellana in Annex, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte. Elizabeth was unbeliever, but those some of her family members who are believers were requesting us.

Last November 4, I preached with my dad bro. Leo and my son bro. Leo II in Purok 4 Poblacion, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. We used a loud sound system. Many of our friends and neighbors were attending.

Last November 9-11, our daughter Zelaea was confined in Asentista Doctors Hospital in Maranding, Lala, Lanao del Norte.

Last November 10, I visited with my dad bro. Leo the house of Lucio and Nora Lopez in Butadon, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte. They are friends of sis. Delia Entroso Laping who requested us to visit. We studied with them about the gospel of Christ. They told us that if they could have time they will let us know to have a followup bible study.

Last November 11, I preached with my dad bro. Leo and bro. Jechris Mancia in the house of Benita Torres in Inasagan, Salvador, Lanao del Norte. Her unbeliever family members were attending.

Last November 15, I preached with my dad bro. Leo and my son bro. Leo II in our house in Upper sagadan, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. It was intended for my mom sis. Evangeline’s sisters in flesh which One of them got married to a Muslim.

Last November 17, I visited with my dad bro. Leo to bro. Gilbert Boliver whose wife was confined in Tubod Community Hospital in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

Last November 21, I preached with my dad bro. Leo in the house of bro. Gilbert Boliver in Maliwanag, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. Their unbeliever daughter and a daughter-in-law were attending.

Last November 22, I conducted with my dad bro. Leo a public preaching in Maliwanag, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. We used a loud sound system. Some of their neighbors who heard were showing a good reaction. Some fellow preachers with us like bros. Jechris Mancia, Wilter Samodal, Jancery Mancia and Rhanie Cabalit.

Last November 24, I preached with my dad bro. Leo and my son bro. Leo II to Marife Doctora in Dawis, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. She is a member of Roman Catholic. She was very happy upon knowing the gospel of Christ and found out the wrong teachings of the catholic. By that time our purpose in going to that place was to haul the gravel for the church building we constructed.

Some of the days we used in working the church building in Maliwanag, Baroy, Lanao del Norte.

BAPTISMS OF THREE PRECIOUS SOULS ON NOVEMBER 18, 2023

On November 11, 2023. My son bro. Evanlee and I together with bro. Jechris Mancia spoke in a bible study in Inasagan, Salvador, Lanao del Norte at the house of sis. Benita Torres member at Rebe Church of Christ. Sister Benita got married to a Maranao tribe, a Muslim. They begot one son Edgar 44 years old, married. When we had a followup study on November 18, Edgar and his wife were there to listen. Blessedly, Three of them including an old blind woman obeyed Christ in water baptism. Brother Jechris Mancia immersed them at the small pool in Kabongbongan Salvador, Lanao del Norte.

We are continually worthy to give thanks to our Father in heaven through our Lord Jesus Christ for the labor of all of us is always be fruitful through His blessing.

Last October 4, 2023 I preached with my dad bro. Leo in a followup bible study together with bro. Jechris Mancia in Rebe, Lala, Lanao del Norte. By the grace of God, the work was good for Three souls were coming to the front confessing of their faith to our Lord Jesus Christ. Last month we preached in the house of one among them in Salvador. Brother Jechris Mancia baptized them in the river of Kabongbongan, Salvador.

Last October 20 I preached with my dad bro. Leo in a followup study we hosted in Masurot, Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte. By the grace of God, the work was good for Two souls were coming to the front confessing of their faith to our Lord Jesus Christ. I baptized them in the sea of Masurot. Some brethren who preached with us for we invited them Wilter Samodal, Rhanie Cabalit, Jechris Mancia and Jancery Mancia.

We thank God through our Lord Jesus Christ for He keeps blessing to His church that constantly growing in number as we all labor in Him.

Evanlee Update for October

Dear Brethren,

My wife sister Flordilez and I would like to greet you and your whole family whom we love and to all our beloved brethren in Kenosha church of Christ in the Name of the great God and our savior Jesus Christ. We hope and pray that everyone of you is fine.

October 2023 worship services.

At 7:00-9:00 in the morning I continued to preach with my son bro. Leo II in Tambacon church of Christ in Tambacon, Magsaysay, Lanao del Norte.

At 9:30 am-11:00 am we continued to do the worship service in Tubaran, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. Last October 8 my dad bro. Leo was with us.

At 2:00-4:00 in the afternoon I continued to labor with my dad bro. Leo and my son bro. Leo II in Purok 4 Segapod church of Christ in Purok 4 Segapod, Maigo, Lanao del Norte. Last Sunday, October 29, my son bro. Leo II, my dad bro. Leo and I preached in Maliwanag Church of Christ in Maliwanag, Baroy, Lanao del Norte.

At 6:30-8:30 in the evening we both labor in Upper Sagadan church of Christ in Upper Sagadan, Baroy, Lanao del Norte. This month, Three souls were added those who were baptized this month and also Two brethren coming from the Logpond church. My son bro. Leo II and my nephew bro. Reynier Canape are continue participating in doing the worship service.

The brethren were faithfully attending. Each congregation had unbeliever visitors that were coming.
